The Central Virginia Section held its first sanctioned event since COVID began and it was a great success. Twenty-three members showed up to celebrate our new found freedom, partake of some great barbecue and enjoy the camaraderie of long separated friends and fellow Mercedes-Benz aficionados. We held the event at the beautiful old home of one of our members. The spacious garage garage and tree-lined driveway was the perfect venue. Members provided delicious fresh pies, drinks, potato salad, coleslaw and of course, some great barbecue. We certainly had plenty to eat and to catch up on. Not to be overlooked were the great Mercedes-Benz automobiles our members brought out of hibernation for all to enjoy. We had all sorts from a 1960 220SE to a 2016 S550 Coupe and anything in between.
